During the early hours of Friday morning, a disturbance involving 30 to 50 people inside a Gatineau nightclub on boul. de l’Hôpital spilled into the street.
Shortly after, four people were in handcuffs and a doorman was on his way to hospital after being stabbed in the stomach.
Gatineau police say the doorman was stabbed at about 2:30 a.m. outside of Luxe Lounge. He is reportedly in stable condition in hospital.
The disturbance started within the club, police say, and then moved outside where it quickly turned ugly after a group of people were asked to leave.
Four people — three men and one woman — all in their 20s, were arrested.
Police say charges are pending.
