Ottawa – Starting Monday, March 2, Old Montreal Road will be closed to traffic between Kinsella Drive and Beckett’s Creek Road. The closure is required to replace a portion of an existing culvert and will be in effect until Friday, March 20.
A signed detour route will be in place to direct traffic around the construction via Highway 174. The closure is not expected to impact transit or local businesses. Commuters are reminded to exercise caution around work areas.
This culvert replacement is an Ottawa on the Move project. Ottawa on the Move is about keeping our community and economy moving forward through strategic investments in a number of transportation, water, and sewer projects to build a better city and create jobs.
