Ottawa Police were looking for suspects following two separate robberies Wednesday night.
While few details were available, police said a man entered a bank on the 2400 block of Bank Street about 7:30 p.m. and passed a note to a clerk demanding money. He then fled on foot.
Similarly, a man robbed a convenience store on the 100 block of Beechwood Avenue in Vanier about 9 p.m. Again, he escaped on foot.
In both cases, police said a gun “may” have been involved.
