Ottawa police are asking for public assistance in finding a suspect in connection with a holdup Wednesday at a bank on Bank Street near Hunt Club Road.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a five-feet-eight-inch tall Caucasian with a thin build, 18 to 20 years old. He had brown eyes and brown hair with short bangs, visible acne marks and a soft voice. He was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt with a white shirt underneath, jeans, and tan boots.

Anyone with information with respect to this robbery, or any other robbery is asked to contact the Ottawa police robbery unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5116. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS) or by downloading the Ottawa police iOS app.
