Ottawa – The City of Ottawa will present a certificate to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) in appreciation for funding provided from revenues generated by the OLG Slots at Rideau Carleton Raceway. The City received more than $5 million last year from this funding source.

Location: Jules Morin Park fieldhouse, 400 Clarence Street (behind Le Patro d’Ottawa, 40 Cobourg Street)
Parking: Limited parking is available at 40 Cobourg Street or at the Jules Morin Park parking lot.
Councillor Mathieu Fleury will present the certificate.
Contributions from OLG are placed in the City’s general revenues account and have been used to reinvest in community enhancement projects. Examples of projects supported by these funds include recreation buildings infrastructure renewal, the Jules Morin Park fieldhouse, building accessibility retrofits, and investments in affordable housing.
