The Met (Metropolitan Bible Church, @ Prince of Wales & Hunt Club, close to T&T) is hosting a parent information workshop on April 19 (Sunday) 3-5pm about the new sex-ed curriculum being put forward by Ontario government. You are welcome to attend this workshop if you have concerns regarding your kids' education at public or Catholic schools.
There will be NO child program/care during the workshop, but parents with young kids can stay in their gym, where the live video will be streaming. You are encouraged to arrange child care among yourselves (for example, one parent can take care of the kids while the other parent car-pool with those who are attending; or some families could make child care & car-pool arrangements together). It is recommended that you do NOT bring your kids (who are in school system already) because what we are going to discuss during the workshop might not be appropriate for them to listen.
