Ottawa police, CSIS conduct joint training exercise

Ottawa police and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) are conducting a joint training exercise in the east end near Ogilvie Road Wednesday morning between 10 a.m. and noon.

“During the training exercise, nearby residents may see an enhanced police presence in the vicinity and at (CSIS HQ at 1941 Ogilvie Rd),” police said in news release.

Police said there will be no public or media access to the simulation exercise.
