Sections of Colonel By Drive and the Queen Elizabeth Driveway will be temporarily closed to motor vehicle traffic this weekend so that workers can remove the change rooms and washroom facilities from the Rideau Canal.
On Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to noon, the Driveway will be closed in both directions between Fifth Avenue and the Bank Street Bridge. On Sunday, it will be closed between 9 a.m. and noon between Fifth Avenue and the entrance to Lansdowne Park.
Colonel By Drive will be closed on Saturday between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in both directions between the Bronson bridge and Hog’s Back. It will be closed Sunday from 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. in both directions between Daly Avenue and the Pretoria Bridge.
