Dig out the umbrella because according to meteorologists the week is going to be damp.
The high under clear skies Sunday was 13 C, but clouds were expected to start rolling in by late evening, with rain beginning overnight.
The Weather Network was forecasting from 20 to 30 mm of rain on Monday alone, which could beat the previous record for April 20th — 26.8mm set in 1982.
The high of Monday was forecast to reach 6 C, with an overnight low of 5 C.

Tuesday’s forecast is a 70 per cent chance of precipitation and a high of 14 C. The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast is full of pictures of clouds and droplets, with the chance of precipitation staying at about 40 per cent until Sunday.
But there’s hope yet for sun this week for, as we know, weather forecasts do change.
The forecast late last week was for rain all weekend.
