The 10th annual national Tartan Day celebrations and Pipefest 2015 took place in Ottawa on Sunday, with a mass band and dancers parade making its was from city hall to Parliament Hill.

The event organizer, the Sons of Scotland Pipe Band, joined the cities of New York, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in a global initiative to rase money and awareness for cancer charities.

The national capital parade and celebrations, which included piping, drumming, dance and song, supported the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
