Three people are in the hospital after a driver lost control of an SUV at a car wash near Richmond Road and Woodroffe Avenue Thursday afternoon.
A 37-year-old man was driving the vehicle into a garage bay at Tops Car Wash, when he lost control. As the car was out of control, one 24-year-old man jumped out of the way and a 70-year-old woman was pushed to safety.
The car stopped when it hit the wall frame of the garage door, according to the Ottawa Paramedic Service.
The driver was treated for chest injuries, the 24-year-old man suffered minor back and hip injuries, and the woman suffered a minor back injury.
All three were listed in stable condition in hospital Thursday afternoon.
The Ministry of Labour is on site doing an assessment of the accident to find out more information.
