A Cornwall man was Tasered and subdued about earlier this month after he angrily walked into the city’s police station and threatened officers with a knife.
Police said the incident happened April 15 when the 28-year-old man, whose identity was not released, entered the station on Montreal Road and threatened the lives of two police officers.
Cornwall police say the man then left the station, saying “he was going to go kill a 47-year-old woman known to him.”
Police followed him and when he refused to drop the knife, he was Tasered and subdued.
The man appeared in court April 24 and was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon, three counts of uttering death threats and breach of probation.
