A 30-year-old Gatineau woman was arrested early Friday after leaving an out-of-control trail of wreckage with her car in the downtown core.
Police said the woman smashed four other cars as well as a fence along Frontenac, St-Jacques and Des Allumettieres streets before coming to a halt.
She was finally arrested at the corner of Des Allumettières and De Montingy streets.
Police said there were no injuries.
Police say the woman’s alcohol-to-blood level was three times the legal limit.
Her license was seized for 90 days and she was released on a promise to appear in court.
