The inquest into the death of high school rugby player Rowan Stringer hears from its last witness Thursday, Dr. Charles Tator, one of Canada’s leading experts on concussions.

Tator, a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Toronto, heads the Canadian Sport Concussion Project.

Stringer, a 17-year-old John McCrae High School student, died of “second impact syndrome” four days after hitting her head during a high school rugby game in May 2013.
