The grounds of Rideau Hall came alive with excitement Saturday when kids, stuffed animals in tow, arrived under sunny skies for the 32nd annual CHEO Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
They brought the beloved toys to the ever-popular B*A*S*H Tent—Bear Ambulatory Surgical Hospital — for minor repairs and a checkup, courtesy of military and civilian volunteers.
The children also enjoyed stage entertainment, rides and games, as well as a celebrity pancake breakfast.
