Ontario Provincial Police have charged two teenagers after an elderly woman was injured in a Kemptville home invasion.
Police said two people were seen running on Fenton Street from the woman’s Ferguson Street home on June 10 around 12:30 p.m.
The woman suffered unspecified injuries in the break-in and was taken to hospital, where she was treated and released.
The investigation revealed that the woman’s home was also broken into in May.
On June 18, police charged a 17-year-old with theft and two counts of breaking into a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Mitchell Langford, 18, was also charged with theft, two counts of breaking into a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence and robbery.
