Ottawa - Beginning on Monday, July 6, Broadview Avenue will be closed northbound traffic from Carling Avenue to Kerr Avenue to allow construction work to replace the sewer and watermain. The work is planned to continue until August 31.
Traffic impact is expected to be low, but motorists should exercise caution in the area. Businesses on the south side of the Carling/Broadview intersection will have Broadview driveways temporarily blocked, but alternate access will be provided.
Cyclists will be affected in the same way as vehicles unless they dismount and walk their bikes. Alternate access for pedestrians will be provided and signed.

The sewer and watermain replacement on Broadview Avenue is part of the Denison, Ernest and Broadview integrated road, water and sewer project, which is an Ottawa on the Move project.
