An investigation continues in Gatineau after two men forced their way into an apartment on Charlevoix Street in the old Hull sector shortly after 11 p.m.
Police say the occupant of the apartment was attacked with a knife and suffered stab wounds to his face and hands.
The victim, who may also have been struck by a “Blunt object,” is in hospital in stable condition.
Police say they have not established any motive for the attack.
