To promote Purolator Tackle Hunger Weekend, Ottawa Redblacks quarterback, Henry Burris, and Ottawa Fury defender, Mason Trafford, wound up with cans of soup and peanut butter jars in front of the Grey Cup at the Ottawa Food Bank on Thursday, July 16, 2015.
Both teams are asking fans to bring a non perishable food item or money donation to their games this weekend in the hopes of raising 55,000 pounds of food for the Ottawa Food Bank. In return, fans that donate can get their picture taken in front of the Grey Cup on Friday night and some lucky winners will also receive signed jerseys.
