Two construction workers were taken to hospital in serious condition Tuesday morning after a construction accident, Ottawa paramedics said in a news release.
They were called to the 100 block of Bank Street shortly before 5 a.m., and assessed three men in their 20s. One was checked but not treated.
One of the workers taken to hospital had head and neck injuries and the other had injuries to his pelvis and lower body.
Both were in serious but stable condition in hospital.
Ottawa police said they are assisting the Ministry of Labour in investigating the incident.
