A Quebec man has been charged with careless driving after a trailer truck rollover blocked eastbound Highway 401 east of Augusta Township for most of Wednesday morning.
Provincial police were called to the crash about 1.5 kilometres west of Augusta at about 4 a.m. after the driver of an eastbound Volvo tractor with double trailer struck the shoulder of the highway, lost control and rolled onto its side.
The driver, Andres Zapata, received minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Police said the highway is expected to be blocked until noon.
