The 2nd annual Ottawa Riverkeeper 4K inter-provincial swim, highlighting the need for co-operation for clean water and a healthy river, is fully-supported (by a charming group from Fire services — see right) but is open to only 100 competitive, masters swimmers and triathletes aged 16 years or older. Check-in at 7:30 a.m., swim starts at 8 a.m. at Parc des Cèdres, Aylmer and ends at Lac Deschenes Sailing Club, Ottawa. Volunteer escort paddlers and lifeguards are still needed.
