Police are asking for the public’s help after a series of shots were fired in the Olmstead Avenue area early Saturday.
At about 12:40 a.m., police were called to the 300 block of Olmstead Avenue. Up to four shots were reportedly fired, and police were told a lone gunman was seen running from the shooting into an awaiting car. No one was injured.
Ottawa police are investigating, and ask anyone with information to call the Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa Police iOS app.
