A young man and woman are dead following a motorcycle accident near Winchester late Thursday.
Ottawa Paramedics responded to an 8 p.m. 911 call reporting a collision involving two cars and a motorcycle on Bellemeade Road, near Bank Street, north of Winchester.
A man and woman, both in their late 20s, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man, the 42-year-old driver of one of the cars, was taken to the trauma unit at The Ottawa Hospital’s Civic campus with back and chest injuries. He was reported to be in serious but stable condition. The passengers in the second car involved in the crash were unhurt.
OPP officers with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry detachment were handling the investigation.
The victims’ identities were not released Thursday night.
