Ottawa police have arrested and charged four men in connection with the savage Canada Day beating of Ian Cope, beaten in his home at Rothbury Crescent in Vanier.
Cope, a man in his 30s who uses a wheelchair, was found at about 12:30 p.m. on July with life-threatening injuries following an apparent home invasion,
The four men have been charged with aggravated assault, and robbery and break and enter.
Additionally, one of the suspects faces four firearm related offences.
The men were to appear in court Thursday.
