Provincial police are seeking public assistance in tracking down the driver of a white vehicle that cut off a motorcyclist and caused a crash on Highway 417 Thursday night.
Police said the vehicle, possibly an SUV, cut off the the bike in the eastbound lanes near the Eagleson Road overpass at about 7 p.m.
“As a result, the motorcyclist lost control and was thrown from his motorcycle where he landed in the south ditch,” OPP said in a release.
The motorcyclist, 44, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was not identified.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa OPP detachment at 613-270-9171. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
