Two drivers have been charged with careless driving following separate rollovers in which each of the accused was injured.
The first crash occurred at about 11:45 a.m. when a Mazda 3 left the roadway and tumbled into the centre ditch on eastbound Highway 7 near the Dwyer Hill Road overpass. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and two passing doctors provided medical assistance prior to the arrival of police.
The 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At about 12:35 p.m., a pickup truck rolled into the west ditch on southbound Highway 416 near the Fallowfield Road overpass.
The 46-year-old male driver, who was alone in the truck, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
