Cornwall police had a unique gift for a new bride this week — an arrest warrant.
Police say the woman, 35, reportedly married a 39-year-old man despite her earlier agreement in court to not communicate with him. The unnamed bride showed up at police headquarters Tuesday “to deal with the matter” and was arrested on a charge of breaching an undertaking, a spokesman said.
The woman was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
