A 46-year-old motorcyclist suffered head and facial injuries in a collision with a deer Friday morning on Hawthorne Road north of Rideau Road.
Paramedics said the collision, southeast of the Ottawa airport, occurred at about 3:30 a.m.
The motorcyclist was declared in serious but stable condition on arrival at hospital.
Ottawa Police Service are investigating the crash.
