A woman in a wheelchair has been taken to hospital after she was struck by an OC Transpo bus on Sunday morning, police said.
The collision occurred at about 10:45 a.m. on Carling Avenue near Woodroffe Avenue. The woman, who has not been identified, was believed to be in her 60s.
Ottawa Paramedic Service said she did not suffering life-threatening injuries, but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
It was not immediately known if the bus was in service at the time of the collision. No other injuries were reported.
Carling Avenue eastbound remains closed at Woodroffe Avenue as officers conduct their investigation. Traffic is being detoured onto Fox Crescent.
No charges have been laid.
