The Bloc Québécois candidates in three Gatineau-area ridings are to meet with Mayor Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin for a briefing on municipal concerns Tuesday afternoon.
Philippe Boily, the standardbearer in Gatineau riding, Jonathan Beauchamp running in Argenteuil-La-Petite-Nation and Hull-Aylmer candidate Maude Chouinard-Boucher will be briefed at 4:30 p.m. at city hall.
The briefing session is part of a program announced by Pedneaud-Jobin and his Ottawa counterpart Jim Watson last month to ensure federal candidates are fully informed of municipal concerns.
The main municipal issues include economic concerns, the role of the National Capital Commission and infrastructure programs.
