Ottawa firefighters extricated at least one person at the scene of a serious accident at 5151 Albion Rd. on Sunday afternoon.
Ottawa police have advised the public that Albion between Rideau and Mitch Owens roads is closed due to the motor vehicle collision.
The Ottawa Fire Services stated in a release it had responded to an accident in which one person was found unconscious and another was trapped in a vehicle. Extrication operations began at 2:21 p.m.
