Gatineau police are looking for a 28-year-old man after a stabbing incident at a home on Melbourne Street in the city Wednesday night.
Police were called to a home on the street at about 9 p.m. Wednesday and found the victim, 63, with non-life-threatening wounds to the abdomen, as well as wounds to his face.
The suspect, the victim’s son, had already fled. A search of the neighbourhood by police and canine units did not turn up any leads.
Anyone with information on the attack is asked to call Gatineau police.
