Ottawa police have charged a neighbour with sexual assault after a Manotick woman was attacked in her home by an intruder last month.
Police said Curtis Rading, 26, is charged with sexual assault, break-and-enter and two counts of uttering threats following the Aug. 24 attack in a home near James Bell Drive and Rideau Narrows Drive.
An adult woman woke up at 4 a.m. to find a man in her home. She was sexually assaulted, after which the man left on foot, police said.
Neighbours said Rading lives on the street.
