Not necessarily so. From the chart, you can tell the age group 75 and over have the highest number of "maximizers". My guess is that they simply moved the fund in "non-registered" account into TFSA, as it's a great savings vechicle. I'd rather manage my own savings, then surrender them to irresponsible government to save (=spend) for me.

用足额度的,55岁以上的人占12%-22%(75岁以上)。

我们有多少人每年存入$10,000;75岁以上的人把余钱转移到TFSA,也只有22%的人能用足额度。

受益的是极少数的人。

It took me a few years to use it. Perhaps I am too slow to follow up. 你说的很有道理呀!

忽悠也得有本事!其实没有"最好",一般而言,最好不让人久"坐",新任三把火。

对个人来说,最实在的就是提高个人收入/配偶/子女的免税额。

可是,政府不愿意这么做,税收实实在在地少了。

RESP: $2,500 x 2
RRSP: 个人收入的18% x 2
TFSA: $10,000 x 2

谁提高个人收入/配偶/子女的免税额,我就选他了。:p 各种福利就是忽悠我。:D

还有房贷的不用想了,除非有米米哥那个本事。大体上算了一下家庭税前200K无房贷可以办到。如果天天稀饭下泡菜15万也可。
 
My personal preference is TFSA. I don't contribute to RRSP.
