TORONTO — There’s good and bad news from last night’s Lotto Max draw.
Firstly, no one has the winning ticket for the $50-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw.
However, this means that next week’s draw will be for an estimated $55-million — a whopping jackpot offered for only the second time in Canadian lottery history. That draw will occur on September 18.
Players with tickets to last night’s draw should still check their numbers as a MaxMillions prize of $1-million were won, with two tickets splitting the proceeds.
Those tickets were sold in Ontario and another in Winnipeg. Each ticket is worth $500,000.
The jackpot for next Friday’s Lotto Max draw will be $55-million, and there will be approximately six MaxMillions prizes available.
