Police say they have captured Michael Hawes, a repeat sex offender wanted on a Canadawide warrant for breaching his long-term supervision order.
Hawes, 33, was arrested Monday on Brothlin Crescent, in Kingston. He was charged with resisting arrest, being unlawfully at large and breach of a a long term supervision order.
Police sent an alert last week that Hawes was known to frequent several locations in Eastern Ontario, including Ottawa.
