As the clock ticks down to final nomination day, the field of candidates in Hull-Aylmer has grown a little more crowded with the entry of Christian Heritage Party standardbearer Sean Joseph Mulligan.
Ottawa-born Mulligan grew up in the Quebec riding, graduating from D’Arcy McGee High School before serving as a field engineer in the Canadian forces for seven years while studying at the University of Ottawa. He has a degree in business administration.
Mulligan and his wife, Grace Plaza Diaz, have two sons.
He’s a former hockey and soccer coach who likes camping, curling, golfing, long walks and reading from sacred scripture.
Mulligan is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Knights of Columbus.
His candidacy brings the field to six in the riding.
