Ottawa police are searching for a Latin American man who has alleged to have sexually assaulted a teenage boy in an east Ottawa park on Tuesday afternoon.
The boy told police he was walking through Loyola Park near Montreal and Shefford roads at approximately 3:45 p.m. when a man pushed him to the ground and attempted to remove his clothing. The boy was able to get away and run home.
The suspect is described as a Latin American male, 47 to 52 years old and five-foot-six to five-foot-seven. He was unshaven and has a muscular build, chin-length brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a black V-neck T-shirt, jeans and prescription glasses with a black frame, spoke English with a raspy voice and smelled of body spray.
