It was the perfect day to celebrate the harvest season on Saturday as Gov. Gen. David Johnston and his wife, Sharon, hosted Savour Fall at Rideau Hall.
The event began at 12:30 p.m. and continued until 4, with those in attendance getting the opportunity to taste culinary creations from some of Ottawa’s top chefs, tour the residence’s State rooms, explore the private gardens and greenhouses, participate in children’s activities and enjoy live musical performances.
Non-perishable food items were also being accepted for the Ottawa Food Bank.
