Ottawa police are investigating a report that a female sex trade worker was hit over the head and sexually assaulted by a client at the Beechwood Cemetery.
The 26-year-old woman had driven to the cemetery with a man on Sept. 16 around midnight.
Police said the woman was struck with an object, threatened and sexually assaulted by the man.
The woman escaped and ran to a nearby home for help, police said.
Police describe the suspect as a white, English-speaking man, between 25 and 30 years old, five-foot-nine with a thin build and very short light brown hair. He was driving a newer model dark grey four-door sedan or a beige coloured pickup truck.
