Police in Kingston are asking for public assistance to determine the events that led to a 36-year-old man being fatally stabbed late Monday night.
Officers were called at about 11:30 p.m. to an address near the intersection of Division and York streets where they found a man who had been stabbed several times.
He was pronounced dead a short while later.
While police are still unsure of what led to the stabbing, two male suspects were seen fleeing the area. Descriptions of the suspects are not yet available.
Police were canvasing the area around the residence and have asked neighbours to survey their property for anything that appears out of place. Police are asking that residents not touch anything that they find. They are also looking for camera surveillance in the area that may help them piece together exactly what happened.
