Occasional high school teachers have reached a contract agreement with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, the parties have announced.
The deal follows a ratification of a contract by the board’s secondary school teachers.
Deals of the agreement will remain confidential until final ratification by both sides. Once the deal is ratified, “the sanctions in place for secondary occasional teachers will be lifted,” the board said in a release.
The board remains in contract talks with Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation bargaining units representing office and administrative staff, maintenance staff, library and guidance technicians, and other specialized instructors and support staff.
