A “projectile” was recovered and the sound of a gunshot was reported in the 1400 block of Heron Road early Saturday, but Ottawa police said no one was injured.
Police responded at about 7 a.m. after a projectile was located in an area apartment building. After canvassing residents, it was confirmed that a gunshot had been heard at about 3 in the morning.
The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating.
