Ottawa police have charged a man after investigating allegations of child luring online.
According to police, allegations that a local man may be using the Internet to reach out to underage youth, were made on October 1. An investigation into the allegations was launched and it was learned that the man had made contact with at least one underage youth.
Charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, two counts of child luring and three counts of breaching probation is Adam Dufresne, 33, of Ottawa. Dufresne is expected to appear in an Ottawa courtroom Monday.
Police investigators are concerned that there could be other victims.
