Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in tracking down a suspect in a pharmacy robbery near Bank Street and Walkley Road Monday night.
Police said the robbery happened just before midnight when a man entered the unidentified drug store and passed a note to the pharmacist demanding prescription drugs.
He was given the drugs and fled. Police believe he may have had a vehicle parked nearby.
No weapon was seen and there were no injuries.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, 40-50 years old, feet feet seven inches to five feet 10 inches tall (170 cm to 178 cm), with a lean to medium build.
