The Ottawa winner of a $1 million lottery prize plans to keep his parents in the picture, says the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp.
Jean-Pierre Sauve told lottery staff his parents “deserve an 80-inch television and that’s exactly what they are getting,” according to an OLG news release.
Sauve won the prize in the Sept. 26 Lotto 64/9 draw on a ticket bought at a Mac’s on Elgin Street.
