Three men charged with breaking into the home of an elderly Quebec couple in July and using an electronic stun gun on the husband now face charges in an earlier robbery at the same house in L’ange-Gardien, east of Gatineau.

MRC des Collines police said Kevin St-Pierre, 23, David Harvey, 21, and Vladislav Arcea, 21, all of the Montreal area, have been charged in an April 23 robbery of the couple, ages 82 and 83.

The three were arrested on July 28 and charged with breaking and entering, assault, kidnapping and robbery. At the time, police gave credit to the targeted couple for quickly contacting police after their ordeal.

“These arrests were made possible by the presence of mind of the elderly couple to quickly alert the authorities, despite the fact that they had just been victims of relentless physical violence, and for the second time in a few months,” said spokesman Martin Fournel.

Police said additional arrests are possible.
