For the second time this year, Ottawa Public Health is advising residents of a Greely subdivision to boil water used for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth and rinsing dishes.
The health department said the advisory, affecting about 200 homes in the Shadow Ridge development, was spurred by a “depressurization in the communal well system.”
Residents should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for all consumption purposes, the department said. More information is available on the City of Ottawa website.
A similar warning was issued for Shadow Ridge in early February.
