An off-duty Ottawa paramedic and several Canadian Tire Centre staff used a public access defibrillator Wednesday evening to resuscitate a 45-year-old man who went into cardiac arrest just before the National Hockey League game between the Calgary Flames and Ottawa Senators.
Ottawa Paramedic Service said in a news release that it received a call at 6:41 p.m.
The service said Senators team doctor Donald Chow aided in the man’s resuscitation and that the man was taken to hospital where he was in critical but stable condition.
